0An Incredibly Sad Card Story Video From Canadian Teen Amanda Todd Posted Before Committing Suicide [Video]
Bullying was bad enough when I was growing as I had to face racism in a rural area but at least then you had the possibility of knowing who exactly was doing the bullying. Today however, in the age of the Internet anyone can become a victim of bullying for reasons that don’t make any sense and most often the person being bullied has no idea who is doing the bullying.
It gets even worse when the social networks that push for us to share everything we do in our lives with all our so-called “friends” online and in the case of a growing number of teens finding themselves being forced to share more than they might want to, only to end up being the the one with a bully bulls-eye on them.
This was the case with Canadian teen Amanda Tood when she mistakenly shared a revealing photo of herself with someone she thought was a friend only to have the picture spread like wildfire; which end up with her being bullied by her entire school. Even moving to a new school didn’t stop t he bullying and Amanda decided she couldn’t take it anymore.
So she created this card-story video and then committed suicide after she uploaded it.
This shouldn’t happen.
