A Dark And Strange Concept For Jurassic Park 4 From 2005
There’s been some press in recent days about the next film in the Jurassic Park series and how they are going ahead with development of the movie but more interestingly we also found out that this was the first attempt at doing a Jurassic Park 4 movie.
It seems that back in 2005 screenwriters William Monahan and John Sayles teamed up to work on an idea where there was a secret project to create a human-dino hybrid thanks to some seriously warped DNA splicing. Needless to say that the movie centered around the idea that these hybrids would break free and go on a massive rampage, because of course all of the hybrids would be able to solve problems and shoot guns.
Thankfully the movie never saw light of day but before it was completely shelved ILM designer Carlos Huante created some concept art showing what these hybrids might look like.
