6 Girls Beat Up A Mentally Challenged Woman, Upload Video Of Beating To Facebook, Get Arrested [Video]
A mentally challenged 48-year-old woman was quietly sitting on her front porch in Chester Pennsylvania when six teenage girls pass by and being the friendly person that she was the woman offered the girls some candy or gum; but instead of either accepting the offer or ignoring it the girls started beating the woman up.
The beating by the six girls began on the front porch but continued on into the woman’s living room as she tried to get way and in the original video you can hear the girls saying that they are going to tear the apartment apart.
The woman who was beaten didn’t report the incident to the police, but did seek medical attention. The only reason the police found out about the incident is because a parent of a local teenager saw the video on Facebook and reported it to the police.
Authorities say the video was posted on the social networking site by the suspects, who bragged to their friends about what they had done.
“It took us most of the morning to find the victim,” Nolan said.
The victim, whose name is being withheld, told neighbors she was going to move. She was too afraid to stay, they said.
Len Worby, who lives in the apartment above the victim, said the incident was the second in as many weeks.
“She got beat up about two weeks ago,” Worby said. “Someone hit her over the head with a gun.”
