Dish Users Don’t Need To Worry About Missing “Breaking Bad” AMC’s Streaming It
In what has to be a hellva goodwill gesture to its customers, and not to mention a real slap in the face to Dish, AMC has announced that in light of its carriage fee dispute with the Dish Network; and their shows being pulled from the network, AMC will be streaming the fifth season premiere of Breaking Bad on the web.
AMC has issued the following statement regarding the move:
“AMC wants its loyal Dish viewers to experience the excitement of the Breaking Bad premiere at the same time as their friends and neighbors, and we want to give Dish customers an extra week to switch providers so they can enjoy the rest of the season,”
All Dish customers have to do is to visit www.amctv.com/breakingbad4dish at 3 p.m. ET on Friday and authenticate their subscription to be able to access the stream for the show that begins Sunday at 10 p.m. ET.

Yeah I saw, quite the smack to Dish – “We care about your viewers more than you”
This definitely opens up a very different battleground now when it comes to the age old carriage fee negotiations. After all why pay through the nose when you have the web to fall back on, or in some cases with the increase of quality web series’ why bother with cable at all.
