0Not Even Being Crushed By A Tree Stops Toyota Truck From Being Driven [Video]
I’ve seen easier ways to get firewood from the forest to the backyard but in the case of a Washington State couple camping out along the Barlow Pass in the northern Cascade mountains this load of wood was courtesy of a 100 foot tree falling on their Toyota 4Runner.
This happened due to a storm that came upon them but luckily for them they weren’t in the truck when the tree fell crushing the back part of their SUV. When emergency and park services refused to help them the couple called upon a few friends with chainsaws to clear the majority of the tree off of the truck leaving just the portion you see in the image.
Amazingly, as you can see in the video, the truck not only started but they were actually able to drive it home. There’s no word yet on the insurance claims but I think it would be safe to say that it’s a write-off.
