0Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange To Host Talk Show
Apparently the best way to become a famous talk show host is to steal U.S. secrets, publish them online and then hide out in another country. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange announced in a statement on Tuesday that he will be hosting a new TV show
According to reports the show will focus on “a series of in-depth conversations with key political players” from around the world.
As if that might shock enough people WikiLeaks is now claiming that licensing deals have already been made with cable, satellite and broadcast providers in order to reach the largest audience possible, approximately 600 million people.
The show is set to air in “mid-March” with a first run of 10-episodes.
In his statement Julian Assange writes:
“Through this series I will explore the possibilities for our future in conversations with those who are shaping it. Are we heading toward utopia, or dystopia and how we can set our paths?”
It will be interesting to see if Assange can pull off the show, he’s known to be quite the “talker” and constantly interrupting guests could turn him into another Bill O’Reilly or destroy the show completely.
