Our eyes can easily deceive us, especially when something we believe should there seems to disappear completely when the right illusion is put into play.
Watch the video below and sit back from your video screen, the instruction will tell you to cover one eye and move slowly towards the screen. The result is pretty amazing:
The phenomenon is called “Punctum Caecum” and it occurs because of an area at the back of the eye that the optic nerve passes through, obscuring the light-sensitive photoreceptor cells that make it possible to see.
