Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia was the location of a blaze described as four-alarm this evening, but no injuries were reported in the fire.

The fire at Tyler Perry Studios broke out just before 9PM this evening, taking down one entire building on the sixty-acre complex and causing extensive damage to other buildings. The 200,000 square foot complex sports, according to Tyler Perry’s website, “5 sound stages, a post-production facility, a back lot, a 400-seat theater, a private screening room, and designated areas for entertaining and hosting events.”

Back in March, the complex hosted a performance of singer Cee-Lo Green for President Barack Obama. As of now, authorities say the fire at Tyler Perry Studios is under investigation, and while it has been extinguished, 20 units and nearly 100 firefighters were on scene battling the massive blaze.

Greenbriar Parkway and Continental Colony Parkway were partially shut down while the fire was being put out, and firefighters were checking for “hot spots” late into Tuesday evening.
