Doug Hutchison, Courtney Stodden Launch YouTube Series in Absence of Reality Show Deal
America is grossed out and reluctantly intrigued by the very May-December relationship of teen fameball Courtney Stodden and former Lost actor Doug Hutchison, 51, but not enough to land the creepy couple a reality TV show deal.
The pair shopped a show to document their day-to-day life as a middle-aged man old enough to basically be his wife’s grandfather, but apparently it wasn’t picked up- and the pair, undeterred, turned to YouTube. The move might be a good one to at least raise Hutchison and Stodden’s profile as minor celebrities, as the internet seems unable to turn away from their often unsettling and moderately entertaining antics.
Doug Hutchison and Courtney Stodden’s first video in the series “Courtney’s Countdown” (which, of course, refers to the countdown to when the teen finally hits 18) is titled “My Foot Hurts,” and chronicles the couple’s quest to discover if Stodden’s clear heels are causing the wannabe starlet foot discomfort.
