American Airlines Sues Former Employee Who Released Attack Videos Against Company

American Airlines has filed a lawsuit against a former flight attendant who recently mocked the company’s management in a series of YouTube parody videos

Gailen David was fired several weeks ago and in his videos he talks about airline executives having first class passengers bumped to coach in order to make room for them.  The lawsuit claims that Gailen and 10 unnamed airline workers who allegedly passed him that information are in violation of breach of duty, conspiracy and trade infringment.

An airline spokesman tells MSNBC:

“The travel information of American Airlines’ passengers is considered both private and confidential, regardless of their relationship to the company.”

The likely translation “yeah we bump our passengers for our executives own personal benefit.” Notice how the company didn’t deny the videos allegations.

In the meantime David says he plans to keep poking fun at the airlines head honchos and he believes he can use the lawsuit to expose more about the company’s management. According to Gailen David:

“I will not stop, American Airlines knows that I am a force to be reckoned with, and they are trying to shut me down.”
