Elizabeth Berkley Pregnant With First Child, is So Excited
The scary thing is a lot of you reading won’t get that joke, but once upon a time there was a show called Saved By The Bell, and cast member Elizabeth Berkley starred on it before she was in Showgirls.
Berkley is best known to 80’s kids as her character Jessie on SBTB, and for Jessie’s dramatic addiction to caffeine pills on a very special episode of the show. The actress also became somewhat notable for starring in the basically soft-porn Vegas drama soon after she left the Saturday morning kids’ show, and the film was one of the most spectacular flops of the 1990s. Berkley is now 39, and the actress has revealed that she is expecting her first child in the summer.
Berkley’s rep confirmed the pregnancy in a brief statement on behalf of the actress and husband Greg Lauren, saying:
“In life there are moments you cherish forever and this is one of them. Greg and I are so excited to be expecting our first child this summer. We couldn’t be more grateful and overjoyed.”
