England Is Due To Have An Invasion Of Poison Immune “Super-Rats”

As if England wasn’t having enough problems but it seems that the British town of Gloucestershire is being over run by rats; but these aren’t your normal everyday run-of-the-mill type of rodent.

No says researcher Dr. Dougie Clarke these are in fact a mutated “super-rat” that is proving to be totally immune to all types of conventional poisons. AS the good doctor puts it “You can give these rats the poisons forever and they eill never succumb, so they are a type of super rat”.

It seems that these rats that are invading Gloucestershire carry a mutated gene that makes them totally immune to the most common poisons sold in stores. This gene was only carried by 1% of rats some 50 years ago but now it seems to be becoming a standard part of the rodent’s gene make-up.

The real problem is that while this gene is still considered to be a mutation there is the concern that with the way that rats breed and move about that it will become a widespread part of the rat gene pool. Researchers suggest that in as soon as ten years all the rats in Gloucester will carry the gene making commercial poisons useless.

Now imagine if this type of rat reaches New York and starts breed .. think we have a rat problem now, we ain’t seen nothing yet.
