Demi Moore Changes Twitter Handle from @MrsKutcher

The split between actress Demi Moore and her much-younger erstwhile husband Ashton Kutcher just got a degree more official, at least by today’s standards- Moore has changed her Twitter handle from her former @MrsKutcher.

It’s been several months since the couple announced that their separation, but Moore did not immediately make the change. (Which looks a bit awkward in the middle of a split, and also kind of makes it weird if the couple reconnects.) But nearly half a year later, the former Mrs. Bruce Willis and soon-to-be former Mrs. Ashton Kutcher got a new official account name on Twitter.

Now Moore, 48, is Just Demi- literally, her account is @justdemi. Earlier today, Moore tweeted:

“By the time I hit 5 mil followers I will have a new twit handle at least a temporary one…”

After that, the actress tweeted:

“So hard finding a name that was fun somewhat playful and available. So for now it will be @justdemi It could grow on me! …Thanks everyone for your help in finding my new name!”

Moore currently has 4,998,000+ followers on the microblogging service.
