0Woman Calls 911 to Report ‘Nasty’ Burger at Hardee’s
We’ve all read stories on the internet about people who suffer buyer’s remorse after purchasing fast food and feel it’s a police matter, and usually the complainant ends up facing a pretty large fine, because 911 is for emergencies and not getting a cold McRib.
One person we might be able to reasonably assume has not encountered such missives is 50-year-old Donna Marie Nichols of Roane County, Tennessee. Nichols was arrested last week (TSG has a mugshot) after lodging not one, but two calls to emergency services to report that Hardee’s had served her a burger and she did not much care for said burger. According to TSG, Nichols believed that police could report to the scene and resolve the matter to her satisfaction, and was grossly disappointed:
…a cop responded to her location, and was told that [Nichols] “had purchased a meal from the Hardees in Rockwood and that the hamburger tasted funny.” Nichols, pictured in the above mug shot, added that before she contacted cops, she called Hardee’s, “and that they told her to return and they would refund her money.”
