Top 10 Consumer Rip-Offs [Infographic]
As someone who has run businesses in the past I know that product markup is something that depends entirely on how much you can get away with sticking your customers with but in some cases one has to wonder if there are whole industries that do what ever they can to gouge the consumer.
This infographic shows 10 industries that are rife with pricing schemes that are so wildly inflated it is enough to make you sick. Like bottled water for example – why are we so willing to pay $2 to $3 for something that is barely better than what you can get out of the tap.
