Five Dead in Georgia Spa Murder Suicide
Five people- including the suspect- are dead after a shooting at a spa in Georgia tonight.
Just before 9PM tonight, police were called to a report of shots fired at the Su Jung Health Sauna in the 6000 block of Buford Highway in Norcross, which is 20 miles northeast of Atlanta in Gwinnett County. Upon arrival, authorities found four people shot dead, and a fifth wounded person. The fifth victim was transported to a hospital, where he or she reportedly died.
Information regarding the incident is currently scant pending notification of the victims’ next of kin. Norcross Police Chief Warren Summers indicated that authorities believe that the incident is a murder-suicide, but did not disclose why authorities came to that conclusion, nor what relation the alleged shooter may have had to the spa or its employees. It is not known if the dead were workers at the spa or customers.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in to assist in the investigation, but police also say they believe that the shooter was the sole perpetrator in the killings.
